Title: fuel pump relay issue kind of
Post by: remingtongoose77 on July 08, 2018, 08:46:50 PM
Hello,

I have a 1996 HD with a 454 and 4L80. I have made a custom gas tank, and need to identify the wiring that sends prime signal to the stock pump.

I had the rear tank, and removed it. I have my own in line pump, and would like to make it work with the stock relay and wiring.

Does anyone know what the black box does on my frame rail? It has a relay on it and a small box with a bread board and circuitry. I'm not sure this works.

If anyone could tell me the color of the stock power wire, and signal wire for the float sender unit it would be awesome.

Thanks

Donít think they have a Haynes manual specifically for the HD but a Haynes manual for the 90s Chevy trucks will have all the wiring diagrams in the back. Iíve got one lying around somewhere, I buy one every time I get a vehicle I know Iíll be keeping
