Got my 2000 3500HD delivered on Labor Day while I was out of town.  A pleasant surprise to come home to.  6.5L with its 5 speed laying in the bed, along with a portable air compressor.  Plan on pulling the service bed for access to the chassis first and then checking it all out to see where I want to start working.

Body is solid and straight.  Drivers side of seat is shot and will need replaced.  The interior will get stripped out and thoroughly cleaned after I've done a good mechanical checkout.  The clutch and pressure plate are in a side box and the flywheel has surface rust on it.  I figured with the age of the truck and the 178K miles they just wrote it off.  The tool body is straight, the doors all work and latch fine, just the rear step bumper shows any sign of damage.  I haven't had the time to check out the compressor yet, other than determining that it is a NAPA unit rated for 175 PSI.  If it doesn't pour down rain tomorrow, I'll put some batteries in it and see if it starts.
