Sounds like they may be overestimating market demand for parts like this. :)

Hmm. Price hasn't changed, I see. After getting mine I had kind of forgotten about the drawings I made for these, might have to get with the CNC guy I use at work and see how much we can get a batch done for.

I called Monroe and asked them about the hubs, they had a company make them. Pretty much took a chunk of steel, put it in a lathe, and made hubs out of them. I have a pretty good machinist and source for the steel, but after pricing tires and rims, gonna stick with 16s dually's and normal 315/75 tires.

There was a little more work involved, the original wheel hub had to be modified as well. It is a lot of work for little gain, though.

Search the net, there are some pics out there. I still wouldn't mind finding a set, this way if I do decide to run 10 lug, I'll have what I need. But sure as hell not gonna pay more than what I paid for the entire truck...

I literally called bout 60 places, and not one had a set or knew where there was a set. But by looking at some pics, and much reading, with a halfway decent lathe operator, I think they could be made. Downfall is they need to be GM/dodge hubs. Something about the material Ford hubs are made of, they can't be welded on. One link I found, showed a set that went over the stock hub (guessing a SRW) and "sandwiched" between the disc and outer part of the hub. Scroll down and there is some pics. I think the post started by a member here...

No welding involved in any case, way too risky. Two ways to go about it, one is to get a two piece adapter from a place like Motorsport Tech. It's two plates with each pattern drilled, with one side having holes to fit the original hub, and one side with studs in the pattern you want, and the two bolt together.

The second is the most common, and what I have modified from a Ford to fit my Chevy. Either way it's the same principle idea. It's a modified dually hub- outer flange cut down to support the end of the adapter, and the adapter is bolted as you had mentioned, rotor-hub-adapter.

Couple more. They're off right now as I'm building my own 70 front, so anything specific I can take a picture of.

So your using Ford hubs? How are you getting the 10 lug pattern in the existing hub? I was gonna take a set of the GM  hubs and have them milled down, then the 10 lug flange welded on the end of the hub, basically like a stock dually hub. 5 pages worth, but in this post he makes is own hubs. Granted they are basically SRW hubs but same idear....

The hub in the lathe is the gm hubs that I'm using, the hubs were originally from a Ford. Old f-superdutys used the same 10x5.25" and 8x6.5" patterns. Everything is now gm spec.

One important thing to note on his hub, is its still pressed, and behind a step to ensure if it breaks it doesn't separate.

The pattern is in the adapter. Adapter is a 9" diameter, 5" thick piece with two flanges cut into it. The inside flange is 8x6.5" and the outer is ten lug. Inside flange is threaded to hold the three pieces together.
