Remove rear helper spings??
« on: September 20, 2017, 11:44:02 AM »
Had my truck for about 6 weeks so far, suspension is rock solid as to be expected as it has a standard 8ft bed and is pretty much always empty, had it over a weigh bridge and it is sitting at 3.5t which is the maximum I am allowed to drive in the UK on my current licence so adding weight may get me into trouble.

Was wondering if it is feasible to remove the 5 helper springs from the rear suspension, can always keep them and refit them at a later date if I upgrade my licence? Oh and how do you add pictures to the forum, each time I try and upload anything it doesn't recognise regular JPEG files? Thanks

Still trying to locate the errors within the web page...it appears to be loading very slowly also.   I just attached a test picture - that worked.  Some of the avatars need re-routing also.
