Anybody buy or use the ebay steel bell housing?

Will this work on my 1996 3500HD?  I have a 6.5 Diesel.  My bellhousing looks like its been repaired a billion times.

Found the GM part number 15998496 and got one for $95 off Amazon warehouse deals!

I have a steel one from a 6.5 diesel on my SBC Chevy right now.
