Any interest in a roller or frame?
« on: November 07, 2019, 07:24:39 PM »
I finally found my crew cab, and now I have a 2001 single cab (mid-length) that I need to part with.  I am willing to sell it whole for the right price, but am also considering pulling the 6.5 and attendant electronics and accessories to install in my crew cab, which is currently equipped with a TBI 454.  Would anyone on here be interested in this truck without an engine and possibly a transmission?  I could send it to the Pick Your Part or scrap it, but that seems wrong when there's this enthusiast community for these vehicles.  A picture of the truck is attached, more pictures can be provided upon request.  Located in Chicago.

Recently had a guy looking for a rolling chassis..but he located one.  The cab looks solid....I always had better luck selling the rolling chassis and body parts separately.

Darn. The cab IS solid, it's a little rough from being a work truck, but there's no real rot that I've seen. The frame has a fresh paint job, it's nice and clean. I'm absolutely interested in hearing from anyone looking for a chassis, I'd like to keep the powerplant if possible.

On my other forum there is a guy in Kansas parting out a 3500HD...he wants the front and rear suspensions for another truck project.
