Tech Section Child Boards
« on: November 06, 2010, 12:26:33 AM »

Hey Ed,

I was thinking, now that the tech section is three pages long, I was wondering if you'd consider adding child boards that pertain to the job someone is looking for, or wants to add to.

Something like an engine, transmission, chassis and electrical board. All the threads organized in their own place.

Just a thought. As the forum grows maybe it will cut down on duplicate threads like I see on other forums. I feel we could learn more adding to one thread than having four threads asking the same question but missing some of the details that may have already been posted elsewhere. We have a lot of very smart members here and it would be a shame for some of their wisdom to be overlooked.

Raymo

I'll try to sit down in the next day or so and clean up the tech material as you suggest.

Thanks

I really like how it's looking so far!

Hopefully the new layout will be even more helpful to the current members, and I'm sure it will make a new member's research easy.

As we speak..I'm moving posts...

Raymo...just moved the old posts...look it over and if you don't mind..send me some feedback related to the category descriptions. Feel like they need some tweaking...a PM would work!

thanks
