94 GMC 4x4 cummins
« on: December 18, 2013, 07:01:08 PM »

I bought this truck because i am wanting 4wd to be able to move sheds in any kind of weather the other truck was fine but i ended up stuck half the time and it was kind of embarrassing getting pulled out by mini vans and Toyota's anyhow i was going to add a front axle to the other truck but with the 9 speed i would have had alot of work ahead of me i usually only have a few months during the winter to do any work on the truck so i decided to run the other while i am building this one.
It has the Monroe setup here is a few pictures of what they did .

They added 3"-4" of lift

Steel plate added to move steering box 2" forward because of longer pitman arm

  Panhard bar brackets

Trans mount

3" for bump stops

Here is the motor mounts

For the transfer case shifter you will see a little dimple where a little bracket that bolts the shifter bezel  go from there back 8.75 and that is where the top bolt for the shifter is located

Hey Fabman, hope the project is going good. Quick question.... Does your 94 HD have the "double frame"?
