8 Lug to 10 Lug conversion hubs
« on: March 01, 2014, 10:48:57 PM »
It took me a year to find these. My career has consumed me and I am selling my crew cab project off.

These hubs are the 8 lug to 10 lug hubs needed to run a 60 front and 19.5 wheels.

Paid $600 shipped for them.

Located in Utah, will take $500 shipped.

Didn't these come off of a ball joint dana 60? Did they use the Ford 5 bolt spindles or the 6 bolt GM/Dodge spindles? Rotors look to be the thinner Ford type. Did it have dual piston Ford calipers or single piston GM type?

Came off a King pin Ford.

They are 8 x 6.5 to our 10 lug pattern.

Is it not this one on post #17 that you bought? http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/wanted/1358377-dana-70-front-8-10-lug-adapters.html
Looks like ball joint instead of kingpin to me.

I was wondering if it used the 12" GM stub axles and GM spindles or the 11.4" Ford stub axles and Ford spindles.

Nice to be able to run the 10 lug 5-hand-hole wheels instead of the Frito truck 8 lug 4-hand-hole.  Matching all the way around. :D

They came off a Ford, they use Ford parts.

If you want a drivers drop Ford axle under your rig, and need 10 lug hubs. These will accomplish that. On a Ford axle KP or BJ.

If you want a passenger drop Chevy axle, I also have spindles out. Meaning everything but the knuckles. So you could find used Ford KP knuckles and outer stub shafts and use Ford outers with the 2 piston calipers while being passenger drop Chevy. Also, the Chevy KP housing would bolt in, sprung over.

Which is what I was going to do...
